San Diego officials were out in the Midway District on Tuesday breaking ground on a tent that will provide shelter to 150 homeless people while also offering behavioral health and sufficiency services. KUSI's Ed Lenderman has the whole story.
SAN DIEGO – San Diego officials like, Todd Gloria and Nathan Fletcher, were out at a construction site in the Midway District on Tuesday for a press conference announcing the construction start of a new 150 person shelter.
In partnership the County of San Diego, City of San Diego, San Diego Housing Commission and the Lucky Duck Foundation, are breaking ground on a tent that will provide shelter to 150 homeless people while also offering behavioral health and sufficiency services.
