Oceanside city officials have declared a local emergency following the fire that damaged its pier.Some county legislators also sent a letter to Governor Newsom, asking his administration to provide emergency funding to repair the pier.The County Board of Supervisors is interviewing candidates for a new Chief Administrative Officer today .Since then, Sarah Aghassi has been serving as the Interim Chief Administrative Officer.
