Jesus Salazar of Muscoy was killed Friday night.
LOS ANGELES — An 18-year-old man who was shot to death in the unincorporated Florence-Graham area near South Los Angeles was identified Saturday.
The victim was identified as Jesus Salazar of Muscoy, a San Bernardino County community, according to the coroner’s office. Deputies from the Century Sheriff’s Station were called at 7:49 p.m. Friday to the 800 block of East 82nd Street, east of Central Avenue, where they found Salazar in a car with apparent gunshot wounds, said Deputy Brenda Serna of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Los Angeles police officers who initially responded regarding a traffic collision determined the victim crashed his car after he was shot.No information was available about a suspect or suspect vehicle. Anyone with information was asked to call the Sheriffs Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
