SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Zoo received a generous donation which will fund visits for Title 1 schools.

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Zoo celebrated a generous donation which will fund student visits for Title 1 schools.

"We are incredibly grateful to Boeing San Antonio employees for their generous support," said Tim Morrow, President & CEO of San Antonio Zoo. "This donation will have a profound impact on our ability to provide memorable and educational experiences for Title 1 school students. We look forward to welcoming even more students to the zoo and continuing to inspire a love for wildlife and conservation.

Title 1 schools receive federal funding to help bridge educational achievement gaps for students from low-income households. In 2023, the Zoo welcomed 108,000 field trip visitors, with 57 percent of students coming from Title 1 schools.
