February got off to a blistering start in San Antonio. Six of the first eight days of the month included high temperatures of 80 degrees or warmer, culminating in a record 89-degree day on Saturday. Finally, a cold front swept through the region on Sunday, which brought temps back to near the climate-normal for early to mid-February. Cool weather is expected to stick around Monday, but temperatures are expected to go on a wild ride through the rest of this week.
Scattered showers are possible, especially through the morning hours. The overall chance of rain Tuesday is 40 to 50%. Wednesday: After a chance of morning showers and thunderstorms, skies are expected to clear by Wednesday afternoon, leading to the warmest day of the week. Morning low temps in the 50s will heat up quickly into the mid- to upper 70s by the afternoon.
