The weather service confirmed flash flooding was occurring in far eastern Bexar County and southern Guadalupe County.

Scattered to numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms were expected to continue, especially east of I-35 through Sunday morning, the National Weather Service said. Locally heavy downpours and training thunderstorm activity could lead to flash flooding. "Martinez Creek near Saint Hedwig, in far eastern Bexar County, is cresting," the weather service said around 7:30 a.m.More precipitation is forecast for the rest of the week with a cold front pushing into the region on Tuesday and a second one on Thursday.
