San Antonio has experienced a historically hot start to February, but a cold front is expected to bring much cooler temperatures throughout the week. Temperatures will drop by 20-25 degrees from Saturday's highs, with highs in the 60s on Sunday and temperatures staying in the 50s on Monday. Scattered showers are also possible throughout the week, with a greater chance on Tuesday and Wednesday.

When it comes to temperatures, the start of February has been nothing short of historic. Through the first eight days of the month, San Antonio’s average high temperature has been 82.3 degrees, which is 17 degrees above average and ranks as the hottest start to February in San Antonio’s history. Morning temperatures in the low 50s will stay relatively steady, only rising slightly into the afternoon under cloudy skies. High temps are expected to reach the upper 50s. There is a chance of a few scattered showers or areas of drizzle, especially through the morning. However, rain will stay very light, with only a few hundredths of an inch of precipitation possible. Rain chances will start to rise slightly higher by Monday night. Tuesday: Rain chances will grow even higher by Tuesday morning.
