Starting May 11, here are the city spots that will welcome swimmers on Saturdays and Sundays.
It's almost time to dip your toe in the water before summer hits with a preseason opening date set for 11 city swimming pools across San Antonio. The following pools will open weekends starting this Saturday, according to San Antonio Parks and Recreation: Dellview Park pool – 500 Basswood Drive Heritage Pool – 1423 S. Ellison Drive Kingsborough pool – 350 Felps Blvd . Lady Bird Johnson Park pool – 10700 Nacogdoches Road Lincoln Park pool – 2803 E. Commerce St.
Flores St. Southside Lions Park pool – 3100 Hiawatha St. Spring Time Park pool – 6571 Spring Time Drive Westwood Village Park pool – 7627 W. Military Drive Woodlawn Lake Park pool – 221 Alexander Ave. The preseason pools will be open free of charge from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, and Woodlawn Lake Pool will also be open for morning lap swim on Tuesday to Friday from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
