A new study has revealed that San Antonio is one of the most challenging US cities to find a restaurant reservation on New Year's Eve . The study, conducted by Upgraded Points, analyzed reservation data from 50 major US cities to determine restaurant availability. While 82.8% of San Antonio 's restaurants were open on New Year's Eve , securing a reservation proved difficult. San Antonio ranked fifth on the list, with New York City taking the top spot at 62.7% of restaurants open.
Upgraded Points found that New Year's Eve was the busiest dining night out of the five holidays studied (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day), with an average of 90% of restaurants open across the surveyed cities
