The city-wide movement encourages community members to volunteer to serve San Antonio's less fortunate. The kickoff event at the Guadalupe Community Center brought nearly 300 Catholic leaders, businesses, and students. "It's huge, it's not just about volunteers, it's also about the kids to learn the lesson to how to help the poor people who don't have anything." shared CEO of Catholic Charities Antonio Fernandez. "So for us, it's an opportunity to help and teach and understand that being a good person is not just watching TV... its just to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to help the people that don't have anything.
