A San Antonio police officer was among three people injured in a multi-vehicle crash early Sunday morning, according to police. The officer was stopped at a traffic light in the 4900 block of Eisenhauer Road when a vehicle traveling at a high speed struck his police car, according to police. That vehicle overturned due to the impact, police said.
The police officer, whose name was not released, was transported to a local hospital. Police officials have given no additional details about his condition.The driver that crashed into the officer's car was taken to a local hospital. The driver, identified only as a 40-year-old man, faces a charge of intoxication assault, according to police.
