Officers found the body behind a dirt mound after a person called it in.
San Antonio police officers found a man’s body Friday night behind a dirt mound on the Southwest Side.
The man had a “visible bullet hole” in his cheek, San Antonio Police Department said in a news release Saturday. The officers responded shortly after 9 p.m. to a report of a deceased person at 9300 Somerset. Upon arrival, they were directed to the body by the person who called it in. The body was in a grassy area behind the mound of dirt. The man was in his 20s but has not been identified, SAPD said.
