PUBLISHED 3:58 PM CDT Aug. 07, 2023SAN ANTONIO — There is only one Black newspaper in San Antonio. Nearly 30 years later, they’re still going strong.
“We are still a weekly,” said Wassem Ali, the president and CEO of the San Antonio Observer. “Since 1995, we have not missed a week of publication. Delivering news from a Black perspective to our people. It’s the primary goal I think of any Black media outlet.”
