Animal lovers, take note! The big summer shows at the Witte Museum and the DoSeum both offer in-depth looks into creatures great and small. At the Witte , “Sharks” is a deep dive into the ocean-dwellers, with an emphasis on conservation as well as the way they are regarded by indigenous people around the globe. There also are several life-sized models of the creatures, as well as an “oceanarium” in the center of the gallery that gives visitors a sense of what it’s like to be surrounded by sharks.
