A San Antonio woman charged in connection with a shooting that killed her 2-year-old daughter in February 2022.Jessica Cantu, 35, is facing a child endangerment charge after her daughter, Juelz Emily Gonzalez, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head in February at their South Side home in the 100 block of Dublin Avenue. Authorities believe Cantu purchased the gun the child used.was arrested in connection with the incident by the U.S.

When Cantu came out of the bathroom, she found the girl on the bed with the head wound. The toddler was rushed to the hospital, where she died on Feb. 27. Her death was ruled a homicide due to complications from a gunshot wound.
