The San Antonio Police Department is investigating the death of a man and a woman, who died in separate overnight incidents.

A man and a woman were killed in separate overnight incidents, according to San Antonio police. The first incident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. in a Southeast neighborhood in the 200 block of Prestwick Boulevard . Officers arrived at the scene and found a 42-year-old woman with “apparent injuries.” She was pronounced dead by EMS. The cause of death is unknown. Police determined that a 52-year-old man heard an assault taking in the area and went to look.

Around 1:30 a.m., officers responded to call for a shooting at a Von Ormy property in the 5900 block of Lopez Valley. On arrival, officers found a man in the backyard of the property with an apparent gunshot wound. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
