President Joe Biden awards the Medal of Honor to two Union soldiers who stole a train in the Confederacy during the Civil War.SAN ANTONIO - A man learned his sentence Tuesday after being found guilty of attempting to kill a police officer back in 2022.Prosecutors said Saldaña shot at a car on Aug. 5, 2022 that belonged to his girlfriend's family then threatened to shoot up their apartment.
“Celedino Saldaña deliberately shot at a police officer who was protecting the public and doing his job,” said Bexar County Criminal District Attorney Joe D. Gonzales, “Our officers risk their lives daily to ensure public safety, and we stand firmly behind law enforcement in their efforts to protect our community.”
