Police had identified Oliver as a suspect, but he had left the scene before they arrived, according to reports. Days later, Oliver was arrested in Waco, where he had been staying with relatives. The U.S. Marshals Service had suspected he was in the area, and police said his mother worked with them to convince her son to surrender.

Gilbert Torres, 22, and Stephanie Zaragosa, 20, each are charged in separate indictments in the death of Mario Alvarez, 21, on Aug. 29.
