A Diogo Pacheco brace in the second half helped FC Tulsa (3-5-4, 13 points) beat San Antonio FC 2-1 at Oneok Field in Tulsa Saturday night.

A Diogo Pacheco brace in the second half helped FC Tulsa beat San Antonio FC 2-1 at Oneok Field in Tulsa Saturday night. San Antonio scored its goal in the 90th minute but couldn’t score the equalizer before full-time. It was Tulsa’s first win at home this season and helped them climb out of the bottom of the Western Conference standings. San Antonio FC lost its second straight game, something the club hadn’t done since Sept. 26 and Oct. 4, 2020, when they lost to FC Tulsa and Austin Bold FC.

We get back to the drawing board. San Antonio pulled a goal back in the 90th minute when Jorge Hernandez scored with a left-footed shot from just outside the box that went into the upper corner of the goal. Luke Haakenson picked up the assist. Just a few minutes later, in stoppage time, Tulsa’s defender appeared to push Kameron Lacey from behind inside the box. Despite the pleas of San Antonio FC coaches and players the ref chose not to give a penalty.
