A hectic slate for SAFC begins this weekend with a visit from Memphis 901 FC to Toyota Field.

After playing only three games in May, San Antonio FC is in for a busy June. The club has six games scheduled for the month. The hectic slate begins this weekend with a visit from Memphis 901 FC to Toyota Field . San Antonio enters June in an unfamiliar spot. The club is eighth in the USL Western Conference , just inside the playoff picture, but the jumble in the standings means a win Saturday could move the club up to third in the standings.

Despite the sluggish run in the last seven games San Antonio still has enough time in the season to climb the standings. “The results aren’t the way we wanted,” San Antonio forward Hugo Mbongue said. “We are home this weekend, and the expectation is three points. We want to win to start to turn around our season.” The game with Memphis is the start of a stretch of three games in eight days for San Antonio. San Antonio hosts El Paso on Wednesday night before traveling to Tulsa on June 8.
