Five dogs believed to be involved in an attack on West Southcross Boulevard earlier this month have now been deemed dangerous.

SAN ANTONIO - The dogs reportedly got loose from their yard and bit a woman in the leg. They were also seen on videoEven though there is a fence around the yard and an enclosure in the backyard, the owner told News 4/Fox SA the dogs always found a way over or under the gates.Now that a judge has deemed the dogs dangerous, a strict set of state requirements is triggered for the dogs and the owners.

The 5 dogs Involved in the incident on Southcross have all been declared Dangerous and that process is moving forward. The Dangerous Dog law allows for the owner to prove compliance within 30 days. In the meantime, the animals remain in ACS custody.
