While at the concert, Landrum allegedly saw his then-girlfriend arrive at the venue with another man. After the concert, Landrum allegedly drove to Stetson Dance Hall, texting his at-the-time girlfriend, referring to the man, "I am dealing with that piece of **** right now." The situation came to a head when the detective retrieved a handgun from his center console, and walked five to ten feet toward the Stetson Dance Hall, where the man was present inside.
