Bravo’s behavior has negatively impacted his and the City Council’s ability to do its work, according to the resolution the council is set to vote on.

Bravo remains stripped of his committee assignments, one of the main avenues for the first-term councilman to influence policy in San Antonio, and it’s yet to be seen whether Mayor Ron Nirenberg will return Bravo to council committees. If he does, Bravo will most likely find himself on different assignments separate from Sandoval. The pair previously shared three council committees.

Bravo’s outburst took place Sept. 15 before City Council voted on the annual budget. He approached Sandoval before the meeting about her refusal to support his proposal to spend excess revenue on weatherization and climate change mitigation programs.
