A court hearing for a San Antonio Councilman Marc Whyte, arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, will be reset for a later date.

Mayor Ron Nirenberg suspended District 10 Councilman Marc Whyte on Thursday in the wake of a recent DWI arrest.

San Antonio District 10 councilman Marc Whyte was arrested on Dec. 29, 2023 following a traffic stop on Loop 410. San Antonio Police officers claim Whyte showed signs of impairment and failed a sobriety test. When we spoke to him on Tuesday following his court appearance, he reassured everybody he did not feel intoxicated but fully trusts the court and legal system.
