Veteran San Antonio welterweight Kendo Castaneda loses recent fight at Madison Square Garden in New York to fall to 21-7
During winning streaks and losing streaks, in good times and bad, San Antonio welterweight Kendo Castaneda has remained even-keeled. Never too high. Never too low. Always upbeat and positive. That profile was tested following Castaneda’s one-sided loss to Elvis Rodriguez on Sept. 27 at Madison Square Garden Theater in New York . Seeking his third straight win, Castaneda found himself on wrong end of the scorecards as Rodriguez won the 10-round bout: 100-90, 100-90 and 99-91.
Rodriguez was one of 81 boxers included in Undisputed, which released on Oct. 11 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The San Antonio fighter is the highest rated bantamweight in the game at 84. Muhammad Ali is the highest rated boxer in the game with a rating of 93. Canelo Alvarez was rated an 90 and Tyson Fury a 91. Schofield returns to ring Nov. 2 Lightweight Floyd Schofield is scheduled to step back in the ring Nov.
