The city of San Antonio and Southwest Airlines are locked in a fight that, if not resolved soon, could damage both sides. Southwest is refusing to sign a long-term lease agreement with the airport unless it gets 10 gates the Dallas -based airline said it was promised in a new terminal that'll be built under the city's $2.5 billion airport expansion plan. The terminal, which will take up more square footage than the existing Terminals A and B combined, is scheduled to open in 2028.
