With automatic workout tracking and more than 90 trackable activities, the Samsung Galaxy Fit presents a colorful alternative to Fitbit’s Inspire HR.

AMOLED screen isn’t bright enough in the sunin March and found the user interface cumbersome—starting a run was a five-step process, but it takes just two steps on the Galaxy Fit. The screen is tall and narrow, so the side-scrolling navigation makes sense and works well. The font is tiny, however, and the AMOLED looks vibrant indoors but isn’t as easy to read outdoors in the sun. You also get push notifications from your Android or iPhone; it works with Android 5.
