DAVID MUNDEE SAMSON—Samson senior basketball star Brantley Edberg admits she patterns her game after Steph Curry, the NBA standout for the Golden State Warriors.The two-time Dothan Eagle Super 12 selection hit 404 career 3-pointers as a Samson Tiger, including a Wiregrass-best 100 in her freshman 2020-21 season when she was named honorable mention all-state. She also earned a Wiregrass-best 97 as a junior.
“I am really excited to play for coach Scott,” Edberg said. “He is a really good guy, and he is a good coach. When I went to watch Enterprise State play, I got excited to play for him.” “It is the hours and hours of dedication in the gym, working on her craft,” Scott said. “She says she models herself after Steph Curry. He works the same way. She gets in the gym. You don’t shoot well just because you feel like you want to be a shooter. It takes work and that is what I feel Brantley has put in.
