on Josh Horowitz’s “Happy, Sad, Confused” podcast, it was revealed that Heughan and Balfe disagree on one key thing. Voice texts. Heughan loves them, but Balfe refuses to even listen to his texts. She wants a phone call, not a voice message. Heughan countered that a voice text allows you to hear your friend’s voice and to listen to it whenever you can find time. This is also true.
Balfe’s disdain for voice texts would not be foiled. When we asked her to impersonate Claire leaving Jamie a voice text, she laughed and quickly replied, “I’m trying to even remember what the accent sounds like! I can’t! It’s been so long!” So, there you have it, don’t send Claire Fraser or Caitríona Balfe a voice text. And they won’t ever send you one. But do listen to Heughan’s impersonation on repeat.
