The Scots actor is set to appear in Channel 4 thriller The Couple Next Door alongside a cast including Eleanor Tomlinson, Pennyworth's Jessica De Gouw and How To Get Away With Murder's Alfred Enoch.
Today, the star, best known for his portrayal of Jamie Fraser in hit time-travelling drama Outlander which is set and filmed in Scotland, told fans that the series will be on screens soon as he revealed he’s attending the Bafta screening of the programme, and he’s feeling “excited”. It means that union members are prohibited from promoting projects they've already filmed, in the form of interviews, premieres, fan expos, press junkets, festivals, and podcast appearances, among other types of publicity. That’s on top of all actors stopping all work on camera and behind the scenes.
