Sam Elliott apologizes for his 'homophobic' comments about Oscar-winning film The Power of the Dog
Elliott, 77, told a podcast in February that he was disturbed by 'all these allusions of homosexuality' in Oscar-winning film The Power of the Dog. His comments angered the film's star Benedict Cumberbatch, who said it was a 'very odd reaction' to the movie.
Director Jane Campion said that Elliott was 'being a little bit of a B-I-T-C-H', adding: 'There is a lot of room on the range'. On Sunday, Elliott apologized for his offensive remarks, saying he was 'not very articulate' and felt 'terrible' for hurting people
