Local organizations are waiting to receive word of when and where tropical storm Beryl will make landfall. The Salvation Army San Antonio is ready to serve.is ready to help those who will be impacted by Tropical Storm Beryl. The organization's two mobile feeding units are visible signs that hope is on the way.is ready to equip five volunteers with the tools they will need to help people impacted by the storm's path.
“We always hear stories from our team when they come back from a deployment, they’re energized because they’re so inspired by the service they’ve been able to offer," he said. “Today’s needs might be different from those of tomorrow.”“We don’t have to worry about shipping items, where to store items, will items arrive on time?” Mayhar said."When these people are facing the worst days of their lives, they remember years later how the Salvation Army was there for them,” he said.
Five volunteers from this location will be deployed to help those in the path of Tropical Storm Beryl. Mayhar says every penny from donations will go to those in need.
