Salt Lake City police arrested 22 individuals during a citywide enforcement operation, primarily on Saturday, February 1st. The operation targeted repeat offenders suspected of violent crimes, drug offenses, and property theft.
The arrests, most of which took place on Saturday, Feb. 1, reportedly included suspects wanted for violent crimes such as domestic violence and aggravated assault, drug offenses , and property theft .
"This isn't a one-time push," Police Chief Mike Brown said. "This is the work our officers are doing—and have been doing—every single day of the year." Several arrests were related to possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.
