Salma Hayek got her start on the Mexican telenovela, “Teresa,” but she became an even bigger star after moving to Hollywood in the early ‘90s, landing her big break in movies like “Desperado” and “Fools Rush In.
Whenever Salma Hayek steps onto a red carpet, you can just about guarantee two things will be involved: sequins and Gucci.Such was the case on Sunday in Toronto, where she attended the premiere of her latest film, Without Blood. Walking onto the carpet, the Oscar nominee looked every bit the glamorous bombshell in a head-turning bodycon gown completely covered in glinting merlot-colored sequins.
The star recently revealed how her close friend Angelina Jolie, who wrote and directed the film, convinced her to take the part.“I didn’t want to do the movie. I didn’t want to be Nina,” Pinault told Entertainment Weekly. “I didn’t want to go to the places that she’s been, emotionally. So I told Angie, ‘I don’t want to do this woman. I don’t want to. It’s too painful. It’s taken so many years for me to get to a place in my life where I’m really happy.
