Hand is receiving a sizable bump in his salary at Florida State.
Florida State officially announced the hiring of new offensive line coach Herb Hand on December 10. Hand joins the Seminoles after four seasons as the offensive line coach at UCF, where he worked with FSU offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn and wide receivers coach Tim Harris Jr.
On Thursday, the university fulfilled a records request submitted by NoleGameday, providing Hand's Letter of Understanding. The agreement was signed by Hand and Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Michael Alford on December 9.Hand's contract will span two years and he will be tied to Florida State through the 2026 season.
