Mohamed Salah broke an impressive record as Liverpool rallied from behind to defeat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 in Premier League action on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds were without Trent Alexander-Arnold as Joe Gomez started at right-back while Jarell Quansah made his full debut for the Reds at centre-back as Virgil van Dijk remains out injured.
While Jurgen Klopp's charges struggled to carve out chances, Wolves should have had a second goal in the 33rd minute when Neto skipped past Gomez before sending a perfect cross from Cunha, who failed to make proper contact in the six-yard area. Klopp responded a single change at the start of the second half, as Alexis Mac Allister, who had been quite sloppy on the ball, made way for Luis Diaz.
Salah has now overtaken Riyad Mahrez's assist record with 62, meaning no African player has created more goal in Premier League history than the Egyptian.
