Graduation ceremonies for three high schools in the San Antonio Independent School District are being moved indoors from the Alamo Stadium to the Alamo Convocation Center due to forecasted high temperatures, according to an announcement on the district’s website.due to failing air conditioning systems last week, although students and teachers returned for the final days of class.
All guests are required to present a ticket for entry to the events, according to district spokesman Maury Vasquez. Due to class sizes, Sam Houston and Highlands high school graduates receive 15 tickets each, and Brackenridge High School graduates receive 10 tickets each, Vasquez said.
