Safair is giving away 365 days of free(ish) domestic flights – as long as you travel light | BISouthAfrica
Safair is running a competition that promises 365 days of"free" flights on its planes.Entries are open until the end of May.Domestic airline Safair is offering one winner one year of"free" flights – just as long as that winner stumps up for airport charges and doesn't want to travel with more than hand luggage.
The winner will receive a"Free Fly 365" card that allows flight bookings to be made on any flight, any time, for the one-year duration of the prize. But the competition's fine print reveals that while Safair won't charge the winner for any of those flights, there will still be money to be paid. Airport taxes for a flight from OR Tambo in Johannesburg to Cape Town comes with airport taxes of R272.57. Safair charges R155 to add one piece of check-in luggage to its"lite" fares. That would mean a"free" flight between Johannesburg and Cape Town with luggage would cost just under R430, even though Safair would not charge for the seat.Giving Safair your details, including an email address and permission to send you marketing material, is worth one entry.
