Three Pontins, including sites in Southport and North Wales, were closed by Britannia Hotels
Pictures taken by a former Pontins holidaymaker showed how the site has been left 'overgrown' and 'to rot'. The photos were taken by a woman named Amy of the former Prestatyn holiday park. The camp was closed suddenly last November by Britannia Hotels and has remained shut since. In January, bosses also closed the Southport holiday park 'after assessing the future viability' of the resort, reports NorthWalesLive .
