This is really special.

“I just feel so grateful to have the best, truly the best fans of the world. I know that sounds cheesy, but I love you, so thank you,” she added. “Thank you to my managers. Thank you to my family, my cats and dogs that are at home.”Carpenter also shouted out her “Espresso” co-writers, including Amy Allen, Julian Bunetta, and Steph JonesSteph, Amy Julian. “I just love you guys so much. I love making music with you, and I can’t wait to share more with the world,” Carpenter added.

The VMA Song of the Year category was filled with a healthy mix of heavy hitters and newcomers and loads of hit songs, including Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em,” Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” Jack Harlow’s “Lovin’ Me,” and Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control.
