SIBU: Sabah and Sarawak can help promote the Malaysia Madani concept as they are known for their racial and religious harmony, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's political secretary Chan Ming Kai.
He said there was a need to find ways to institutionalize and incorporate the concept of"Malaysia Madani" so that the government could support it and sustain and promote diversity in language and religion.
“I am confident that Sabah and Sarawak, with their emphasis on harmony, multiple religions, and cultural diversity, can provide strong support and serve as an excellent example for Malaysia,” he said. He added that the two states have two important elements of the Malaysia Madani concept which he found impressive.
