The Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) has made history by curating 871 different types of traditional, local, and international cuisines in one setting, setting a new record in the Asia Book of Records. The achievement was recognized by the Sabah Chief Minister's wife, Datin Seri Juliah Salag.

“After that, we asked what is next? That is how the idea to curate the taste of the world came about,” she said. “We hope that one day, Sabah will be a place for culinary tourism. That is our long-term goal,” said Rosmawati.
