KOTA KINABALU: Four of the six new Covid-19 cases identified in Sabah are returnees from Peninsular Malaysia, says Sabah Health Department director Datuk Dr Christina Rundi.

KOTA KINABALU: Four of the six new Covid-19 cases identified in Sabah are returnees from Peninsular Malaysia, says Sabah Health Department director Datuk Dr Christina Rundi .She added that both were placed at a quarantine centre upon their arrival in Kota Kinabalu and were moved to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on May 18 as they had tested positive.

The sixth positive case involved a patient was a housemate of another person who had recovered from the viral infection. The new cases bring the total number of patients to 337, and there have been five deaths recorded in the state.Article type: free
