Sabah cops seize more than RM1.9mil worth of smuggled alcohol in series of raids

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah police have seized more than RM1.9mil worth of alcohol in three raids last week.

State Police Commissioner Datuk Zaini Jass said they also arrested seven suspects following the raids.

"In the first raid, a police team in Tuaran had found 8,040 cartons of alcohol from a storehouse at KM27, Jalan Telipok Lama, at about 12.05pm," he said at a press conference at the state police headquarters in Kepayan near here Thursday .
