KOTA KINABALU: The state Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) is planning a special working committee with parties under the Perikatan Nasional.

Sabah Bersatu chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor said the party hopes to get it started as soon as possible in wake of a possibility of a snap general election under the current political situation in the country.

“Once we hold discussions with our partners in Perikatan, we will set up another election machinery that involves all parties, ” he told reporters after chairing the Sabah Bersatu meeting at the party’s headquarters here on Tuesday .
