Sars commissioner Edward Kieswetter was briefing the media in Pretoria on Tuesday.

SARS commissioner Edward Kieswetter.says it has noted a number of recent retrenchment processes."We can report that we have seen an increase of 1,622 employees retrenched during April this year, compared to last year. Which is an increase of 9% and the total number of retrenchments in April is just over 20,000", he said.
