South Africa’s 2017 multimillion-rand loan to Cuba will be fully repaid in 2026, and so far, the administration of the Caribbean island has not missed a single repayment. Details of the loan were contained in a report of the Portfolio Committee on International Relations and Cooperation on the 2022/23 first and second quarters expenditure performance of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation .
