JOHANNESBURG - Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga updated the nation on the phased return of pupils to school on Sunday including how they will be assessed."Because of loss of time and days, we have been really looking around assessments to say how are we going to assess the internal grades with continuous loss of time," Motshekga said.
The minister said the Department has agreed to move the National Senior Certificate exams from the usual starting date in October to 9 November, aiming to finish around 22 December.- Coronavirus Hotline Number: 0800 029 999 from 8am to 4pm, Monday to FridaySend HI to 0600 123 456 on WhatsApp. The NICD has another Clinician Hotline to improve #COVID19 communication and support for healthcare providers.
