However, the announcement also highlights a notable challenge that remains unresolved. The spinoff has landed a Canadian broadcaster and streaming partner before finding a home in the United States. Bell Media has picked up the series, planning to bring it to viewers through CTV and Crave in 2027. While securing Canadian distribution solves one challenge, there is still no confirmed outlet for audiences in the United States. The original S.W. A.T. aired on CBS for eight seasons, but the network decided not to move forward with the spinoff.
