Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Gala Film's dystopian drama RZR unveiled its teaser as a wrap-up surprise at the end of the Hall H Ghosts of Ruin panel at San Diego Comic-Con on July 22. The series is led by creator, executive producer, and co-writer David Bianchi , who plays the title role of Grimm. Bianchi is joined by a stellar cast that includes Mena Suvari , Emilio Rivera , Christopher Marquette , Richard Cabral , Mimi Davila , and Danny Trejo .
RZR is a science fiction drama set in an alternative dystopian Los Angeles, which is steeped in neural implants, hacker culture, and the underbelly of black market crime. Viewers will be questioning whether mankind can evoke good or simply reap destruction on itself through the power of artificial intelligence over the course of 8 episodes, making RZR a perfect complement to Gala Film's other upcoming project, Ghosts of Ruin, which stars Rosario Dawson.
RZR was produced entirely in Los Angeles, and Noelle Hubbell produced the project alongside Bianchi. Episode directors include two-time Emmy-winner Yuri Alves , Christopher Folkens , and RZR co-writer Daniel J. Pico .
